Things have improved in California. I ordered cable which should come next week. I no longer have to go to the DMV. And....well...that's it.
Okay, so I am also happy to be here, I am happy to be studying theatre and I really like the faculty and I like the flexibility of my schedule even if it means I essentially work nights and chunks of the weekend. I guess I just have to get used to that side of the equation.
I am still adjusting to California and its essence. I went to a triathlon club meeting but was turned off when every other word out of the president's mouth was 'stoked.' And it was so much more intense than I really wanted. I don't really want to get up at 7 am and run on a track. I just want to run with other people and some different routes. And the only person at the meeting that was even close to my age was the coach and I would never be in good enough shape to truly impress a man who has won Nationals twice and was president of the US Triathlon team for the World competition or something.
Now I am babbling. Point is- things are going better. :)
