No Longer...
I am no longer a screaming worm. I'm just a tired graduate student ready to be done with the quarter and I almost am. One Spanish final completed. One paper 95% done. One paper with an intro and outlined which will be written tomorrow. Approx. 26 papers graded with 18 more to go.
I am so tired of Magnavox, I can no longer scream never to buy one, I can only desperately plead. They are evil. The customer service people are unkind and call you m'am even when you express that you would not like to be called m'am. The response, and I quote: M'am? I am sorry, m'am. I was also told that there were actually other people who have problems and their problems have a higher priority than mine, so I just needed to wait until my problem made it onto their lists.
Target is also on my naughty list. Sorry, April. Though Magnavox told my repair shop that I need to return it to Target and I called Target to ask, they never called back and in the original call implied that there may be problems because I waited too long but I didn't return it initially because they told me initially I couldn't return it with a reprint of the receipt which apparently was misinformation according to Hallie, the manager who I spoke with today. See? It's complicated AND frustrating.
So my next TV will not be a Magnavox and will not be purchased at Target.
That is the latest and one of the reasons I am exhausted. Dealing with these TV hassles makes grad school seem like easy living.
Back to grading.
